Allereerst wil ik iedereen bedanken voor alle lieve reacties naar aanleiding van het overlijden van mijn schoonvader. Allemaal lief, meelevend en warm. Het heeft ons goed gedaan; jullie zijn bijzonder! Dank je wel!
Na een veelbewogen week kwam komt langzaamaan de zin weer terug om weer eens een kaart te maken.
Ik ben hartstikke vereerd met mijn plekje in de top 3 bij Dutch Card Lovers; wat een opsteker. Dames; hartstikke bedankt!
En deze week is er een nieuwe sketch
At first I want to thank all of you for your heartfelt comments, emails and cards upon the passing of my father in law ( oh my is this english?)
It means a lot to us and I want to thank you all. You all are so special....
After a week with a lot of emotions I am slowly getting back to daily life and I made my first card since 10 days. I am also honored being one of the top 3 of the previous challenge at Dutch Card Lovers. Ladies thank you so so much!
This weeks' challenge is based upon this sketch:

Papers: and border sticker from Melissa Frances 5th Avenue, doily from my stash, pearl and swirl (on top of the "banner") from Thea ( such a sweetheart and co-worker..) sentiment from Waltzingmouse stamps, Antique Linen distress ink, and a few stitches from my sewing machine

Nou idd terechte plek hoor Stella. Deze kaart is ook weer heel mooi. Mooie lichte kleuren. Prachtig die doily en die swirl met brad ziet er heel mooi uit.

yeah that you are starting to mend my sweet friend! I love this ultra shabby chic birthday card! The pennant, doily, and lace are all calling me! I am such a tecture freak! Just love it Stella and keep getting better!
Het is heel fijn te zien dat je wat afleiding weet te vinden in je hobby. Op de één of andere manier is het te zien dat je bij het maken van deze wonderschone kaart in een hele gevoelige periode zat/zit, hij is nl. verschrikkelijk lief en mooi gemaakt. Echt een schatje, net als jij trouwens ;-) Veel liefs, dikke kus, Ira xox
