CCCB #35 and Waltzingmouse #28

Hello everyone,

It's Saturday and one week to go before.....Christmas.
I did some shopping and now it's time for a challenge. In fact; two challenges!!

I immediately knew what I wanted to make for this weeks' challenge at the  City Crafter Challenge Blog. For this weeks' challenge you MUST include kraft cardstock. That was easy peasy because I decides to make a gift card envelope and I used this cute  kraft envelope:

This envelope is also the perfect base for this weeks'challenge at the Waltzingmouse sketch challenge blog

Here is their sketch:

Here we go!

I  slightly inked the top of the envelop with white ink and added some more white ink on the edges. I also prettied up the inside;  seeing the back of a doily is a bit boring isnt it? :)
I added a sentiment '(Heirloom Ornaments stamp set from Waltzingmouse), distressed it a bit and added a felt flower, a rhinestone and a butterfly.

I covered the front with papers from Melissa Frances and added a little ornament i had for ages. Also a sentiment from Fancy Phrases ( Waltzingmouse stamps)

I covered the top with another piece of Melissa Framces paper, a butterfly and a rose. And the pom pom trim fits perfect on this envelope don't you think? You can see the doily on the left and right side of the top; I think it's a cute addition...

And here is my envelope; I made it for a birthday but I think I have a hard time giving this away; I love the final result. And I also love to hear what you think of it!

Here is my envelope:

Have a wonderful weekend!
Till soon!
Stella
