For the bride and groom!

I Hope you all had a great start of the new week.
We are still enjoying fall here in Holland; argh!
This afternoon I went to friends by bike and on my way home I had the "privilege" of a rain shower that looked and felt like a waterfall. Soaking wet; there was not one single piece of dry clothing left.
I looked like a drowned cat.....
I can only dream of having dinner in the garden; the BBQ is covered with dust :)

But today is a special day. It's the wedding day of one of my sisters Jacqueline ( Come on dearie! Where are the photos of those handmade jewels/quilts of you? :)........)

She and her husband Frits are celebrating their 23rd wedding anniversary.
They got married on a special date:
8-8-1988........ Congratulations sweeties and happy anniversary!! XX

And of course I made a card. She received it so now I can post it here!
The stamp is from the Fancy Phrases set of Waltzingmouse stamps:

That lovely heart-pin is a gift from Cathy; seam binding from Memrie Mare and an adhesive pearl from my stash:

I inked up a chipboard frame and glued a small string of pearls on top of the lace

papers from Pink Paislee. I slightly inked the edges of my card with Egg-Shell from Color Box.
Here is my card:

That's all for today; till soon!

Ohh WOW!! Mooi, mooi, mooi!

Liefs, Marjan

Your anniversary card is so beautiful, Stella. I love the gorgeous papers, and inked frame. Your string of pearls are so delicate and pretty. Your sister will be over joyed with it, I'm sure.

So sorry that you got soaked while out on your bike. You seem to be having them same weather as us in Yorkshire. And, yes, it does feel very much like autumn today. We bought new garden furniture in June, and we have it covered all the time.

Hoi Stella,

Liefs, x x x Jeanne

Yes, we have the same weather here, no summer, just gusty winds and rain :(
