Inspired by.....

Last summer my eye caught a card that inspired me to make a card in black and white.
Not my go to combo when I make a card so also a bit of a challenge :)

This card is made by Sue Lelli

I love the design of this card and her fab use of damask patterns.
.I created my own patterned paper with a background stamp (French Country by Waltzingmouse Stamps)
The Chicken wire stamp  is also from Waltzingmouse and so is the sentiment.

This is a peek of the patterned paper I made:

I love love love this sentiment set (Say it Loud)

And here is my card
Sue thanks for the inspiration and getting me out of my comfort zone:)

My weekend started already!

I have a graduation of one of my nieces coming up; crafting on Friday,  having a friend here for Friday evening, getting to meet a new baby boy on Saturday. After that I'll lock the door, pull off the phone and enjoying a Saturday evening on the couch. And in between all this.... blogging!

Till soon!
Stella

Hi Stella, this is a really stunning design! I love how black and white is so striking! Also not really my go to colours to just sit down and make a card with , but I'll do it for a challenge. You did awesome and Sue is such a great crafter! (In fact, I am trying to make a lunch date with her as I type this!)

hi Stella, its been awhile since we talked. Your card is just gorgeous
What a busy 'down' time you will be having! LOL Sounds good to me, though. ;)

Love your black and white card, Stella! Good for you, trying something different. B/W is so elegant and classy, it's something you should do more often (you could even throw in one little punch of light blue, like a flower or ribbon).

I like your handmade patterned paper, and that chicken wire stamp is dreamy!

Sue's card is spectacular too!

Hoi Stella,
