Blue boxes

Hello!

My oh my I always have the feeling that the weekend is passing by twice as fast as the rest of the week.
Am I the only one?

I have another little make over project to share!

Do you remember this box? (in fact got two of these)
I got them from a friend of mine.
She did not use them any longer and wanted to throw them away.
And I immediately came up with the idea that a bit of paint and some new knobs
would turn them into handy dandy boxes.
This is before:

I just turned the two drawers and added the knobs.
And yes; again painted in polar blue:)

These knobs are quite simple

And these knobs are a bit different; I could not make a choice so I bought both....

And this is the final result; the painting is not perfect but I like the way they are now.
A perfect place to store my stash of tags and  cards..
Which one do you prefer?
This one?

Or this one?

Till soon!
Stella

Wow, this is fabulous, and I am love with those knobs!
Hmmm....I like both! Must I choose a fave? I can't!

Are these boxes from Ikea? I kind of remember seeing something similar at their store many years back. They are the PERFECT storage containers for your tags!

What a lovely transformation, Stella! Love the blue color, and the knobs are SO pretty! I really like both designs. I think I might mix them up a bit and use one of each knob on each box, cause it's just too hard to choose!

What a fabulous project and a great find for you! I would soooo use those drawers ... good for you to "rescue" them! I'm partial to the flower shape but love them both. It's the goodies inside that's going to hold all the fun!
