CCCB #120 Solid as a rock


I had to play along with this weeks' challenge at the City Crafter Challenge Blog.

You have to use solid color on your project, which means, no patterned paper, however, you are allowed to  use other mediums and/or embellishment items.
Right up my alleye.


A perfect opportunity to use an embossing that was sent to me by Ros.
( More about her package soon:)...)

Two tiny silver pearls to dress up the sentiment a bit:




A die cut sent to me by Pauline. I made another felt flower and added a pearl to the center; cut and embossed the leafs and inked them up with white ink:

oh ♥WOW♥! miss stella, this is BEYOND fabulous in every respect, in fact, i think i need to save the photo to my inspo file i love EVERYTHING about this lovely and elegant design!!!

Nou Stel, je kaart is idd solid as a rock, kan niet missen met die prachtige tint blauw, wat is die embossing folder toch super, geloof zelfs dat ik hem ook heb liggen (schandaal, ze weet niet eens of ze 'm heeft of niet!) en je roosje is perfect! Fijne avond (je wilt niet weten hoe vaak ik m'n typewerk heb moeten corrigeren, komt vast door de rosé, m'n zus en haar gezin waren vanmiddag hier, net terug van vakantie), veel liefs, Ira xxx

Wat een effect heeft die embossingfolder op je kaart. En je hebt dat perfect gebruikt door dat tekstdeel in het midden te plaatsen en daarnaast de mooie doily en de prachtige blaadjes met roosje! Subtiel stempeltje... Mooi mooi mooi.. ik ben er weg van!

OH! Yes, I can see why you love this embossing folder. Great choice, Ros! I like how you added that doily die cut off to the side and kept the color palette monochromatic. Gorgeous!
