Bright

Hello!
Before I post my card I have a question. I am missing notifications in my email when someone has  left a comment. Or I receive them about two days later....And I also got notifications that my  comments were not delivered???? Checking the blogs where I left my comments I found out they  were already posted. Am I the only one?
On to my card. I made it with papers in bright colors and a fairly simple design.  I guess the papers and the flower die are doing the trick:)  Here is a close up of the flower:

Washi tape

Hello!
I made a card for the current challenge at the Lift Challenge blog. We´re supposed to lift this card:

I grabbed my washi tapes and decided to use some shades of green and blue for a card in "Spring" colors:

The first card turned out a disaster and ended up in the bin. Washi tape "curls" up a bit once you teared or cut a piece of the roll and it took me a while to create a decent pattern..... The sentiment is in Dutch and means "hello". Here is my card:

Just a flower stamp

Hello!
I have a place in my heart for cards with a design based upon a stamp. Simple but stylish:)
I made card with a few flower stamps and just a simple background of striped paper. And added some twine and a little sequin. Perfect for this weeks'challenge at the Dutch Card Lovers challenge blog. We are supposed to use one or mutliple flower stamps. No die cuts, handmade or store bought flowers. Just stamps!
Here is my is my attempt; of course in blue:) I made it for the wedding anniversary of one of my sisters.

Up again

Hello,
Hope you are all enjoying a few wonderful days celebrating Easter!
After some serious computer issues I thought I was back again. But it took a bit longer as expected. Due to a heavy sinusitus and ear infection I am here after having anti biotics. I hope that was all about being ill for this year:)
I have two cards to share; the first card is in time for this weeks' challenge at the City Crafter Challenge the second card was originally planned for the previous challenge but I could not finish that card in time because I was not feeling well.
This weeks' challenge is based upon using a hot air balloon or a regular balloon. I made a card in advance for one of  my grandnephews who will be three May 15th. Here is my balloon:

And here is my card:

The previous challenge at CCCB was all about their 4th anniversary. I cased the card with the bike and instead of shabby chic I added a modern twist. I made it for my sister Jacqueline who had surgery. Here is my card:

It's working....

Hello!
No I did not fell off the earth ...but after 2 weeks of computer issues (installing a new windows version and a new security program to avoid virusses and other annoying spam stuff) I am able to use my desktop computer again. Blogging on my smartphone is extremely time consuming and Blogger on my tablet was not working great. The last few weeks were quite frustrating....
But I am back....I did make cards but lost a few photos while we installed the new windows version; grrrr. And the cards are already sent....
But I have a card to share with a matching envelope:)
Spring colors:

And washi tape....

And my favorite stamp set from PTI. Here is my card:

With this card I am playing along at the Dutch Card Lovers challenge. We're supposed to make a card with a matching envelope. I used the same stamps on my envelope and used washi tape in matching colors. I hope you like it...
It's good to be back :)
Till soon! Stella
