I hope you are all well and enjoying this special time of the year. I have something with white lately. Although I am hoarder when it comes to paper pads I tend to use a lot of white cardstock.  On the first card I added a personal favorite...a wreath:

And I think the card did not need much more except for a few sequins:

My second features my deer :) My sister Jacqueline bought it for me at John Lewis when she was in London.

A piece of silver tinsel and white cardstock; that's all:

Tis the season :)

Just popping in to share another christmas card; this one came together quite easy. Everything on this card is from a card kit; the only thing I added are the sequins. I had to add them for a little bling:)
Stickers, die cuts and patterned paper are from the "Oh Deer" collection from Fancy Pants.

Enjoy your day; it's  cold and windy here so  I continue to make a few other christmas cards. Thank for stopping by, Stella

Custom order

After making a all my cards for the custom order I thought it would be nice to share the photos and a bit about the process. I was asked to design and make christmas cards; 350 cards. The honor and making them was so much fun. I came up with two cards; both stamped and adding a little bling and twine as a finishing touch.  The whole process was cut into steps. My husband has been a fab help to cut all the cards from cardstock. And all the silver stars.  After that I came in :) I chose a stamp set of snowflakes in various sizes and a wreath The snowflakes were stamped in my favorite color scheme. The wreath had a classic touch; I love these berries. I picked three shades of ink and started with stamping the biggest snowflake. All 175, after that the middle size snowflake and finally the smallest one.  Next step was stamping the sentiment and on the back a "handmade" stamp. The wreath is a two step; the branches and the berries. 175 wreaths, 175 berries, 175 sentiments…

Lift Challenge #77

Hee hee the weekend has started:)  It is the season and today here in the Netherlands we are celebrating St. Nicolas.   Which you can compare with Santa Claus for C!hristmas in other countries. A busy but wonderful month.  And for me not half as busy as November.  This week I finished a custom order of 350 (!!) cards.  It kept me on my to toes so to speak for the last two months.  But most of all I was honored they asked me and it was fun to make them! That´s why my blog visits have not been as frequent and regular as I would love to.  This weekend we have a lot of fun things to do;  we are putting up the tree. And making a trip to the city   for some major shopping with Martijn. Martijn will be leaving for Liverpool in January and stays there for almost 6 months. He will be working there on his last research project before he graduates from University.  Besides that I also want to bake a few things.  And spend time with my new Big Shot which arrived this week.  On to my card!

City Crafter Challenge #240

It Tuesday and my turn to host this weeks' challenge  at the City Crafter Challenge This week our theme is "A wreath for all seasons" Create a card or project using a wreath on it.  AND add a touch of silver to it, e.g. a piece of tinsel,  silver embossing, silver paper or sequins.  You can add it to your background, sentiment or on the wreath itself.  As long as we can see it!

I chose pale blue and let the wreath speak for itself:

And added the smallest touch of silver by adding a few silver pearls:
