Darnell it has been wonderful to have you with us! You can find more of her lovely projects on herblog.

I came up with polka dotted paper,
floral paper and yes..... that bird again:)
A bright color scheme; perfect for a happy spring card:

For a bit of dimension I added sequins  and rhinestones to the center of the flowers. Here is my card:

Watercoloring

Hello!
I hope you are all well. A windy and wet Sunday here in Groningen.... Time to post a card that I made with a technique  I tried for the very first time; watercoloring. I am not great when it comes to drawing or painting so I kept it simple. I guess that's just my style:)  I used a ruler to create a border in various shades of ink:

And added a few flowers:

And finally I had some time to make a card:) I am here today to share a card  that I made for the current Lift Challenge. We're supposed to lift this card:

I picked the biggest flower from the PTI "In Bloom" set  and heat embossed it with white embossing powder:

And colored it with  my SU Blushing Bride marker; I only have 4 colors so my choice was limited:) I added a few lines with a white marker and a die cut sentiment.  Here is my card:

My take on the photo inspiration is based on the colors;  a combo in pink and neutrals:

I admit; I am addicted to that Songbird die set.  Where would i be without that sitcthed leaf die :)

The winner will be able to join us as a Guest Designer!

Lift Challenge #82

Hello!
Hope all is well with you. I had time to play along in the current Lift Challenge.  We are supposed to lift this card:

Besides the design we also had to work  in a monchromatic color palette. I choose yellow; it made me think of spring.  The papers were a gift from Judith:

The design was fun, the color palette was easy but the flowers.... I tried a few, tried it with stars, hearts but nothing looked great.  So I decided to give this challenge a twist and choose a sentiment:

Maybe not the perfect lift; sorry.

Take care and thanks for looking! Stella

Our Guest Designer this week is Darnell!! You can find more of her lovely projects on her blog.
This theme has been a challenge to me.  I do not have any clock stamps or images  and it took me ages to find a key stamp but I found it:) And it turned out very clean and very simple...

There you have my key:)  In real the house is cut from dark blue cardstock. Due to the weather I couldn't come up with a better photo; sorry!

Hello!
Today it's my turn to host this weeks' challenge  at the City Crafter. The theme is "Washi Tape". Create a card or project using washi tape.  There are so many beautiful patterns available and   it gives a lovely accent to your card or project!
And I am kind of hooked on washi tape:)

Our Special Guest Star for March is Darnell! You can find more of her lovely projects on her blog.

I came up with two CAS cards in bright colors.

And to show you how easy you can make a
card with just washi tape and a sentiment:

Bright dots:

And lots of white;  I guess that's my signature on every card lately:)
