City Crafter #285

Good morning!
We are having a brand new
challenge at the City Crafter. Today Marina is our host and she picked the theme:
"Creatures of the night".
And she asks us to use an owl,
a fox, a bat or something spookier
 on our card or project:

I went with the fox.
But gave the theme a twist
And made a card as bright as daylight...

I am addicted to this cutie from Lawn Fawn; and gave it bit of color with my pencils. The sentiment is also from Lawn Fawn And for once; no sequins but enamel dots :)

Our Guest Designer for this week is  Denice Price from Green Crafting. You can find more inspiration from her and   the other team members on ourblog. I hope you will have time to play along;  the winner will be offered a spot as our Guest Designer.
Thanks for stopping by;  have a great day!

Lift Challenge #94

Hello!
In between work and study I managed  to squeeze in some time for a card. (I have to re-exam in the beginning of November;  I didn't pass my exam in August)
This card is made for the currentLift Challenge. We're supposed to lift this card:

A great design to lift and perfect for another Christmas card.

I used my star embossing folder for the white background.  You can't see it very well in the photo;  but if you take a closer look you can see it:) And finished it with silver tinsel and a sequin:

City Crafter #284

Hello and good morning!
It's Tuesday again and  it's my turn to host the
new challenge at theCity Crafter.  This weeks' theme is:
"In to the wood"

Create a card or project and add something related to wood.
It could be an embellishment, a woodgrain stamp ,
an embossingfolder with woodprint etcetera. But NO tree!

In an attempt to decrease my huge stash of patterned
paper I choose a paper with a wood print:

And added few touches of gold.  The sentiment is partly in  gold and partly in wood.  I placed the wooden sentiment on  top of a print; it adds  some depth to the sentiment.

I also had to create somethng  and focus on white. I love CAS in case you did not know :) I used an embossing folder,  paired it up with a few touches of black and golden enamel dots

And a sentiment; that's all:

Vellum

Hello! Geesh almost time to go to bed; but not before I posted my card :)
This card is made with vellum; sent to me by Marit. She spoilt me rotten with embellishments  a fab stamp set and gorgeous papers. The vellum used on this card was also included.

Paired up with gold foil, sequins and twine. Vellum as gorgeous as this does not need much:)

Till soon! Stella

I am an absolute beginner with mixed media. I used a stencil and some embossing paste and  paired it up with various dies.  And added some blue and gold accents

That leaf die from the Songbird set. That set is my best buy ever:)

World card making day

Hello!

It's World Card Making Day and I had a  few hours to spend in my craft room.  I made a christmas card:

I decided to use patterned paper from the Girls'Paperie  that I hoarded a few years ago.  To be honest; I had to use it because my stash of papers  and paper pads is HUGE. And it really is time to use them :)  My blue snowflake is not the same shade of blue as  you see in the patterned paper.  But it's the best possible match with my colors of blue cardstock.

Have a wonderful weekend! Stella
