T(h)ree in a row

Hello!
Before I am off to the cinema to see the new James Bond "Spectre" I am here to share a card.Yes; a christmas card and like many of you I am not ready. I need to make quite a few more.Besides christmas cards  I also need birthday cards. That means I won't be bored this weekend:)
This card is made with a tree punch and coordinating stamps. And again in a soft muted shade of blue. And lots of white:

One of the trees is punched from a sheet of paper which was given to me by Marit:Paired up with a stitiched border and a bit of silver. The sentiment is stamped  on the inside:

I hope that you are all having a great weekend!

City Crafter #289

Good morning!
We are having a brand new
challenge at the City Crafter.Today Marina is our host andshe picked the theme:
"The Snow Queen"
The famous story written by Hans Christian Andersen.
Marina is asking you to pick an element from this image:
the queen, the trees, the scarf.
Or use the Snow Queen story as inspiration.

I was inspired by the trees and
a shade of blue and brown.
I guess that blue ain't much of a surprise:)
It also made me think of winter:

You can already see the trees and a shade of blue. I added hemp cord for a touch of brown:)I love Scandinavian patterns; perfect for a winter theme card!

Hello!
Sunday afternoon; the weekend is almost over.Yesterday Irene and Thea were here and we had a fab afternoon. They went home with a few cards; I did not make a card at all.But we had fun, talked, laughed and it was a well spent Saturday!
The card I am sharing today is the ultimate CAS card.Just a sentiment, a background stamp and a butterfly:

I stamped and die cut the butterfly and layered it with vellum using the same die.

Have a great Sunday; till soon!

Busy times

It has been a while since I've been here...I did not pass my exam; I will do it again somewhere in February 2016. And after my exam I got the flu; finally I am feeling a bit better. But I missed a lot of great cards and fun posts to read.
I received my cardkit from Bij Oma Dee and the colors and patterns are stunning. Here are the first cards from this kit:

The colors are my favorite

I only added a few golden sequins, some hemp cord and used a few sentiment dies

I hope your weekend is great!Stella

City Crafter #287

Hello everyone!
It's Tuesday and that means  a brand new challenge at the City Crafter Challenge blog. My dear friendRosis our host and she picked the theme "Dye it".
Create a card or project using only die cuts and/or paints, inks etc.You can use your stencils.

Strictly no stamping. Not even the sentiment; you can use a die-cut.

I grabbed one of my stencils and created a background with distress ink.A Christmas card in non traditional colors:

And no Christmas card without a touch of bling:)

City Ctafter #286

Hello everyone

There is new challenge waiting for you
at the City Crafter Challenge. Today Kirsty is our host andshe picked the theme "getting ready for Christmas".Make a card or project related to Christmas.

For this challenge I made a very simple card. In my opinion; the background stamp does the trick.

All I added was a tree and a rhinestone. No sentiment; the card speaks for itself:
