CCCB #314

Good morning!
We have a brand new challenge at the City Crafter. Today Marina is our host and she picked the theme:
"Feathers". Marina asks us to add feathers to our project; with or without a bird attached.

I used my personal favorite;
plain cardstock.
And added touches of silver and grey

I stamped a border from Papertrey's ombre  builder with Aspen Mist from Versamagic; it was hard to capture it in a photo.   But adds a subtle touch  and focus on the sentiment.  The embossingfolder is a perfect match with our theme:

Our Guest Designer this week isGreta;
she was the winner of our anniversary challenge. Greta plays along often and is very talented. Hop over to her blogto see more of her fabous cards!   You can find more inspiration from her and  the other team members on our blog. We are offering the winner

A Sunday at home and nothing on my agenda;  these are the best Sundays:)
I made a few cards and one of them is based upon the sketch at  CAS(E) this Sketch

A great opportunity to work with  a few of my favorite things:  lots of white, sequins and stars:)

A bit hard to get a decent photo but here is my card:

Thanks for stopping by; enjoy your day! Stella

City Crafter #313

Hello and good morning!

It's my turn to host this weeks'
challenge at theCity Crafter
I choose the theme:
"Black and White"

Use black and white only AND
use gold as a detail.

And again I used my favorite papers
from Crate Paper "Little You".
And added a deer which Roscut for me with her
Silouette Cameo (Thanks so much sweetie!)
The sentiment is from SU.
I must confess I added a bit of grey......
but that's the new white for me :)

It turned out a Christmas card
with a modern design.
And a little touch of gold:

Kite

Hello!
After a wonderful weekend with a few of my sisters,  attending a workshop  and some craft shopping I have  a card to share for the current Liftchallenge. And we're supposed to lift this card:

A few attempts turned out awful and I decided  to create a very CAS take on this challenge.
Maybe not spot on but I
like the card :)

Lots of white cardstock, a kite and a splash of color. And the coordinating die for  the sentiment is a new favorite:

Thanks for stopping by and looking! Stella

CAS(E) this sketch #172

Hello!
I hope you are all well and  enjoying your weekend! Last week we had gorgeous weather. Spending a lot of time in the garden and I did lots of weeding and cleaning up. The weather is not that great which is a  great reason to spend time in my craftroom. I made a card based upon the  current challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch:

The sketch made me think of a pinwheel: I knew immediately what to make.

Papers from Echo Park paired up with  Papertrey's Quilted Summer die. And a sentiment in a sunny shade of orange:

Till soon! Stella

Birthday girl

Hello!
I hope you are all well! We had the most amazing spring weather  with lots of sunshine and perfect tempratures.  But the weatherforecast says that  it will be less warm and clouded again....
Spring is a busy season; besides my full time job  I spend a lot of time at our  allotment and garden. Planting, watering, weeding.. There is always work to do :)
On top of that I need  a LOT of birthday cards. I made this one for a little girl:

The cutest papers from Crate Paper which I bought at Bij Oma Dee. I used a simple design because these papers speak for itself:

"Fairy Tale Land". Kirsty asks us to create a project  that includes elements of a Fairy Tale. Such as: stars, a princess or prince,  a castle, aunicorn, a pixie, pixie dust etc.

I came up with stars;
I guess not much of a surprise :)

These colors are my go to and I think
they are great for a masculine birthday card.
Papers are from Sostrene Grene and the
sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.
Twine is another favorite so I had to add it:)

We are having Nela asour Guest Designer;  she won challenge #304. You can see more of her  lovely cards on her blog!

My favorite craft shop because there  is a huge selection of all the things that I love for cardmaking and mixed media. I also used one of my PTI dies:
