Supplies:

A week ago.....

I went to Amersfoort for a creative date/day withWendy,Marit,Cornelie,Judith,Doraand Bianca.Wendyis very talented with mixed media and prepared a project for us.
It was a fun day and I learned a LOT. Besides mixed media we also made some prints with the Gelli Plate.Marit showed us how to use a Gelli Plate;she made some stunning backgrounds and I love her style!  A fun technique and I will share some cards soon.
On to my mixed media project. We did some watercolouring, sketching, painting with acryllics and splattering:

I decided to work with bright shades of pink and yellow.Something different as usual:)Back home I finished my cardand added a sentiment in bright pink:

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely evening!

Lift Challenge #113

Hello!
It's weekend and this week went by in the blink of an eye:)A few visits, baking with a few former colleagues and now it's already Saturday afternoon...
I am sharing a card based upon the currentLiftchallenge. We're supposed to stamp and colour an image andlet it "pop" over a handdrawn frame. That means doodling and handwriting.Like this card:

I made card with the "Yay kite"stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn.

The doodling went quite well but my handwriting turned out a bit more irregular using a fineliner. The sentiment is in Dutch and means: "Thinking of you"I coloured my images with Derwent coloursoft pencils.Baby Blue for my kite and Pale Brown for my squirrel. To add a bit of contrastI added a red heart :

Thanks for stopping by;have a great weekend!Stella

I didn't use a shopping theme but went along with the banners:

(The poor photo quality is due to the weather. Daylight wasn't great at the moment I took the photo...sorry!)
I used patterned paper from Becky Higgins tocreate a birthday card with a masculine touch.Masculine birthday cards are not my forte but I am pleased with result:)

Happy Birthday Ros!!

Today is a special day......

We are celebrating a birthday at the City Crafter Challenge. It's the birthday of my very dear friend:
Ros

Happy birthday sweetie!!!Wishing you a wonderful day filled with love and happiness. I hope you will be spoilt rotten...Mwah!Ros is amazing with watercolouring, painting
and sketching.I wanted to make a card for her
 using a bit of paint.
No watercolouring but acryllic paint:

I started with my Gelli plate and acryllic paint to create a card base.On top of that I used a stencil with large polka dots. I added small dots using a stencil and pan pastels. And surrounded the dots with a white pen.
A white sentiment and a few white sequins as a finishing touch. Here is Ros' card:

I hope it arrived in time; along with her birthday gift.
Enjoy your special day Ros!
